Not At My House

It's relationship-building week for our HOPE groups.
This is a week for getting to know some people who AREN'T in your HOPE group.
So we won't be meeting at our house.
I'd love to come up with some great idea for what we can do to get to know some people ... some way to hang out with people from another group ... but I don't have any ideas.
If I do come up with a great relationship-building idea, I will post it on here and let you know immediately.
But, unless you hear otherwise ... don't come to my house.
Use this week to go to dinner with that person you've wanted to get to know.
You know there's someone.
That person (or persons) you see at church and you've thought, "I should invite them over for dinner and get to know them."
Well, do it.
Invite them over. Play a game. Eat some dinner. Ask some questions. Make a friend.
Just not at my house.

And this really is not a week off!
As a staff, we really felt like these weeks were necessary to keep us from getting stuck in our comfortable groups with people we already know.
I know that it would be really easy just to invite your favorite people over and have a game night, but that's not what this week is for.
UNLESS you invite some people you don't know as well.
So go for it! Have fun.
And tell us all about your new friends next week.
DON'T FORGET ... Saturday is a church-wide workday. Please go and take advantage of this opportunity to minister to the community.
We'll see you next Tuesday.
Aaron
