Too Legit to Quit
Ok...
We're going to go with the whole....God doesn't know when to quit situation.
As in...He goes SO ABOVE and beyond...with everything He has for us.
His love.
His grace.
His mercy.
His creation.
His strength.
His freedom.
So...I need some situations where people just do not know when to quit.
Butch gave possible ideas like...bragging about a child...
I want several ideas of someone going on and on and on about something...even if it's something they shouldn't be going on and on and on about.
Then Butch will tie in with, "God is like that with us...He does not know when to quit! He just keeps on giving us more and more and more."
Put your thinking cap on!
And...I need to write this skit before I go to bed tonight.
The passage we are using is from Romans 8:35-end of chapter.
We need to show that God could have quit at making conquerors...but He has made us MORE than conquerors. This whole chapter is full of examples where God gives us all of Himself in lavish ways.
Tomorrow is out.

I'm still thinking on this, but what about someone who sings too much b/c they think they are so good.....or even if they are good..they sing all the time to where it's obnoxious and just too much.
Still thinking...
Aaron said, what about using the thought...is there ever too much of a good thing?
Does that do anything for anyone?

From a different standpoint (one that's not obnoxious), what about a person who keeps making meals or doing nice things for people who need help...even after she/he gets hurt a few times. First he shows up normal, second he shows up with a bandage on his eye or something, then he shows up with a broken arm, etc., finally he shows up with crutches and a head bandage and so forth...every time still determined and joyful to cook and deliver meals (or whatever). It sounds stupid now that I read it over, but it could be pretty funny.
As an explaination for the above idea:
Ila gave me this idea, b/c a friend of hers made her a meal when she was having minor surgery....but her friend bringing the meal was worse of than her and she just couldn't believe someone could be so kind and giving in the midst of their own pain and suffering.
By the way...I know I can't spell..
here we go:
the first thing that came to mind (and it's always the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about the Lord blessing us) is someone dumping an entire ewer of water into a dixie cup sized up. The excess water would, of course, then spill out all over the floor, making the cup more than full...
Infamous = more than famous. (three amigos)
Or (and I'm thinking this one with my fingers) the girl whose boyfriend's/husband's love language is gift giving, and he's just out-of-control with it, but not to the point that she's annoyed by it, but where she's just genuinely confused as to how he never seems to be satisfied with the amount of gifts he's already given, she tells him it's enough, and he understands, but keeps giving gifts anyway.
my last idea is to have Aaron and the Bombastics sing Boston's "More Than a Feeling"
