Kaycee's Song Ideas
I was thinking about songs for this weekend. You all are right, there are not many songs about the Holy Spirit so I was just trying to think about songs that tell about God being that main mover in our relationship to him and also about the theme of God pouring out his grace on us and loving us despite our sin issues. Here's what I've thought of so far:
Grace Like Rain
I will Praise You Oh, Lord (this might not be the title but it say's "you have rescued me from sin and I am blown away...great is your love to me...you have delivered me)
Rescue (because it talks about Jesus being the source of life and that no one else will do)
Let Your Praises Ring (because it says In you I live and move and breath)
Give Us Clean Hands (again having talking about God doing these things in us)
That's all I've got for know.

i already mentioned to aaron on tues that i think "Come Thou Fount" would be good. it has that line: "here's my heart lord, take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above"
and i tried signing in to post a blog and it wouldn't let me. :(
Cool that you mentioned "Rescue".
Butch already talked to me about doing that one. But doing in some different place as more of a focal point ... like maybe using it as the preperation time or something.

Yes! I like the idea of making that a focal point. There's just such desperation in that song and it points back to the fact we need him even to just make his grace real in our lives.
