Look, it's Will!!!

Here's some pics of little William Wade and the proud mom and dad! Under that hat is a full head of dark hair. 6lb, 7 oz and 19 3/4" . They're planning on going home Friday afternoon if at all possible. Let's help them out with some meals for a few days so they can relax and enjoy Will and Grady together. We'll take care of dinner Friday night. Post if you'd like to take them a meal Saturday through????
Ain't he a cutie?!?!?!?!?!

Two Weeks

I have an idea.

How about if we do a backyard Christmas concert at the Hendrick House on Tuesday, December 12 during our HOPE Group time?

We would invite my street.

I know some pretty talented musicians who are usually here on Tuesdays anyway...who could play some Christmas songs in our backyard.

I know a man who could lead us in some great jams about Jesus on our back porch.

I know some little kids who could sing Silent Night, not very silently.

I know a man who has a ton of sound equipment that he can loan to himself if it's not already promised out that evening to some famous singer.

I know a bunch of people who could make some hot chocolate, apple cider and cookies to also bless all of Inwood.

What do you say?

Sound fun?

Sound like a great chance to meet the people whose houses your cars sit in front of every Tuesday night?

Let me know who can be here.

We could spend all day together decorating and getting ready.

But we would have to keep it on the down low. I want to bless my neighborhood, which means, there probably should not be a million people here from LH who "overheard" about this fun idea.

So....shhhh!

And, this Tuesday night, we are going to meet up at the church at 6:30 to eat dinner together and then work on the stage until forever. Stay as long as you can. We've got to make a coffee shop that's cool in one week. No stress.

I'm bringing spaghetti, paper goods and drinks.

We could use salad, salad dressing, garlic bread and dessert. And, let's do easy, finger-food types of desserts, and lots of them, since people will be up at the church working all night. K?

Love you guys...
